Not much has changed in the US when it comes to school shootings, so it seems. But how can one not try to do something about it?
The new Sandy Hook Promise PSA, which focuses on the signs to recognize a shooting yet again (which is extremely saddening in itself), starts of as a cheery back-to-school ad and then flips into a short horror movie.
The previous SHP-films went live around December 14th, the day the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, took place in 2012. This year the anti-gun violence starts earlier and has become a 360 integrated campaign inclusive of print, digital, radio and OOH – and not just film. Perhaps, to make sure Donald Trump also SEES it.
