WhatsApp launches in Brazil its first brand campaign in the world, “It’s between you”. Created by agency AlmapBBDO the film is inspired by carnival and based on a real story. The message: WhatsApp connects people (oh really?).
Throughout this year, the global WhatsApp campaign will launch local creations in different countries. ‘WhatsApp participates in the intimate lives of people and collective experiences according to the particularities of each region’, says BBDO. In addition to AlmapBBDO, BBDO México, BBDO Berlin, BBDO India, and BBDO San Francisco are also involved. The full ad is shown on sister platforms Facebook and Instagram. A short version will run on open TV.
